The August Turak Foundation offers event services at Iron Gate Farm. We rent out our farm space in order to generate revenue for the foundation, ensuring we can continue to support and advance our mission of fostering personal growth and transformative leadership.
Iron Gate Farm, the picturesque 75-acre property that serves as the operational base for the August Turak Foundation, is a quintessential setting for both our foundation’s activities and a variety of special events. Nestled just 11 miles from Wake Forest, North Carolina, and a convenient 30-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Iron Gate Farm seamlessly blends accessibility with a tranquil, pastoral environment.
Our venue features a large, exquisitely converted horse barn with a stunning 1200 square foot open loft, complete with a full bath, bar, and kitchenette. The space is ideal for a wide range of events, including sleepovers, birthday parties, bridal party dressing suites, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and more. Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a spacious deck, offering breathtaking views of the rolling woods and pastures.
The farm’s expansive grounds, including hardwood forests, pastures, ponds, and grazing cattle, offer endless possibilities for event planning. With 9 spacious stalls on the first floor, towering oak trees, and versatile outbuildings, the setting is both flexible and enchanting, making it the perfect choice for any special occasion.
