The August Turak Foundation is proud to offer grants through the Educating Emily Fund, an initiative that supports students and athletes committed to a transformative journey from selfishness to selflessness. As part of this fund, we provide various awards, including the Coach Campbell Award, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, character, and a dedication to serving others.
The Coach Campbell Award is given annually to a senior football player who exemplifies leadership, commitment to excellence, and outstanding character, as well as a strong inclination to uplift and support their community.
The Educating Emily Fund provides financial assistance to students who embody the spirit of selflessness and seek to further their education while contributing positively to their communities.
Both awards reflect our mission to foster personal growth and inspire a shift from self-centered goals to a broader, more impactful purpose. Through these scholarships, we aim to support individuals who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of others.
GRANTS AND GIVING
Established in 2017, the Educating Emily Fund is dedicated to supporting the holistic development of young people, addressing their educational, spiritual, mental, and physical needs. Unlike traditional scholarships, this fund offers comprehensive assistance for private school tuition, after-school and summer programs, psychological testing, tutoring, uniforms, mentor programs, and more.

In 2021, August Turak and Coach Campbell established the Coach Campbell Award to honor players who exemplify leadership, commitment to excellence, and exceptional character both on and off the field. This award includes a $500 college scholarship and a beautifully crafted trophy, funded by a 20-year endowment personally financed by August Turak through the August Turak Foundation.
We are excited to highlight the achievements of these outstanding young men and the positive impact they will continue to make.
